Great place for nightshift workers, an definitely beats the other usual 24/7 haunts ( maccas, 7/11 etc)
Was browsing nearby motorcycle shops and needed some fuel. Found this cafe on Google maps and was pleased I did. It may not be the most salubrious of locations but the place was meticulously clean, the coffee tasty and I was treated to a really good burger. Cooked perfectly with sauteed onions, tasty cheese and delicious crispy bacon in a toasted sesame bun. A very welcome calorie boost after a lot walking round the city.

It's hard to find places like this, the Food is your classic Diner style Hearty Burgers or Toasties Dim Sims or even a Fantastic Rice Pudding! This place literally never stops and the staff are a great bunch of people!

“This evening I headed to the cult institution - Embassy Cafe. I ordered a classic set - a burger with the lot (plus beetroot), a steamed dim sim and a can of coke. The dim sim was a perfect starter - fresh out of the steamer with plenty of soy sauce. The burger was tasty, the kind of burger you’d get in a country town. Nothing fancy, no fuss, but full of flavour. Washed down with a can of coke. No matter what time, it’s always a hit. The hot plate never stops.”

OK Anzac Day, visiting friends near North Melbourne train station, desperate for coffee but cant see anything open til spot good old Embassy cabs 24 hour cafe!! Yay. Thank you, flat white and soy latte delicious. Also in a blast from the past noticed their food menu had ham steak and pineapple!!
The best traditional old school hamburger 🍔 in Victoria, I’ve been eating here for 40 years, cash is king NO CARDS 💳 love ❤️ it ice 🧊 cold Coke the best. I laugh 😂 at some comments saying they need business or 2 star ⭐️ they wouldn’t know what an incredible burger 🍔 is . TT

Throw in a coffee and it was all up $18.
